El Comal Mexican

Not good. Service was really good but the food was not. The seats has sticky stuff stuck to them and we found the place very dirty.

From the outside I wasn't sure what to expect and a little hesitant about trying this restaurant. We were greeted and seated promptly. The waiter took our drink orders and this older lady came out and took our order. She was very helpful in explaining some of the dishes. We were surprised with the size and type of salad that was brought out before the meal. The house dressing is delicious. The caramelos were absolutely wonderful. They did forget to put the tomatoes inside but still delicious. The beans were just like beans should taste like. Not mushy and tasteless. The rice was perfect in texture and spices. The enchilladas were great with the touch of hot sauce added to spice them up some. Even paying the bill was quick. Thanks for a wonderful meal El Comal.

Sometimes service can be on the slower side, but honestly it is well worth the wait everytime! Authentic mexican cuisine. Out of town guests alwasy love going here if you like real mexican food...

Amazing! As a former chef I really appreciate fresh and authentic food. The mole pablano is in my top 3 best meals EVER! I eat there whenever I can and have been there with groups with many food backgrounds and all left happy. One of the best restaurant in Lethbridge.
